Eleanor enjoys working with Entrepreneurs throughout the life-cycle of their investment journey. She understands the pinch points of both growing and maturing businesses and what investors and acquirers look for at each stage. She likes working with businesses in a variety of sectors as often the most exciting deals are when dynamics from one industry can be applied to another.
Knowing that “the devil is in the detail” Eleanor ensures she understands the nuances of the businesses she represents and the individual goals of her clients. Armed with this knowledge she is able to present the business in its best light and act as a sounding board to her clients to discuss, debate and explore the pros and cons of options, tactics and strategies throughout the transaction. Combining this leads to the right deal for the business and its shareholders.
Eleanor is a fellow of the ICAEW. Prior to founding ABG Corporate Finance in 2013 she worked at Livingstone Partners (now Arrowpoint Advisory), KPMG Corporate Finance and KPMG where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Kristian is passionate about working closely with entrepreneurs and helping them at key points in their journey to develop world-class businesses. Kristian is a fellow of the ICAEW.
Outside of work, Kristian tries to keep up with his wife and three sons as well as enjoying the occasional nice meal. He also keeps friends and colleagues entertained with his ‘all the gear, no idea’ approach to health and fitness.
Dan joined ABG Corporate Finance in 2016, having qualified with accountancy firm ABG. Dan assists Eleanor and Kristian on transactions, getting involved in both the detail and wider deal.

“We have worked with Kristian over a number of years and on several different transactions, not just at MSS. Kristian advised against exiting in full earlier and it has proven to be excellent advice. We were wary of private equity but he found an ideal investment partner for us as founding entrepreneurs and made sure the deal happened.”
The experience and expertise of the ABG Corporate Finance team proved to be vital. They managed interest from both our UK competitors and overseas trade acquirers to help us secure the best possible outcome.
Eleanor was instrumental in getting our Management Buy Out over the line and so when it came to our exit we knew we wanted her by our side. Yet again, she did an excellent job.
Having initially tried, and failed, to negotiate a business sale without an adviser I can now see the true value that high quality advice adds. Eleanor and Dan were not only a great pleasure to work with, but they shouldered the burden of complex discussions and delivered a deal that we would never have been able to negotiate on our own.
We had a long-term strategic interest in the success of this deal, through ongoing stakeholder relationships. The ABG CF team understood that and ran a process tailored to that need. Having been on the other side of the table when we first acquired the business, it was an easy decision to appoint Kristian to act in the same capacity for us at our own exit.
Kristian provided practical advice and insight at every stage. He helped us to understand the process, including the complexities of cross-border deals and dealing with private equity-backed consolidators. He made sure we secured a deal that was right for us as entrepreneurs and also our angel investors.
The ABG Corporate Finance team provided invaluable assistance to the management team of Egress in developing a well thought through and ambitious business plan to enable both us and our banking partners, Triplepoint, to build conviction around the investment. We always enjoy working with ABG Corporate Finance who consistently provide sensible, pragmatic input into transactions.
Kristian led our engagement, moving us methodically and successfully through to deal completion with what was a sophisticated and experienced buyer. We would not hesitate in recommending ABG Corporate Finance, who maintained the highest levels of professionalism, attention to detail, patience, tenacity and good humour throughout our exit journey. Does what it says on the tin!
